A Visual Travel Memory, 2024
HABANA CUBA is a personal visual travel book inspired by my experience of walking through Havana and observing the city through quiet moments, architecture, and everyday details.
Rather than documenting Havana as a destination, this project focuses on memory — how places are remembered through fragments, impressions, and visual rhythms. The illustrations combine hand-drawn architectural sketches with expressive typography and a limited color palette, reflecting the warmth, density, and layered history of the city.
This book is not intended as a guide, but as a visual diary — a collection of impressions shaped by observation, movement, and time. The cover design balances bold, gestural typography with detailed line work, while the overall layout emphasizes atmosphere, texture, and personal perspective.
